"The Silver City Story", with Paul Ross

  • Blackbushe Heritage Trust England United Kingdom (map)

Paul will be covering the history of Silver City Airways from its creation 80 years ago in 1946 to its incorporation in the British United Airways (BUA) Group at the end of 1962.

In addition to its well-known Air Ferry services, Paul will also look at many other aspects of Silver City’s work - including operations in support of the oil industry in Libya, record-breaking trans-Atlantic delivery flights of Canberra jet bombers and the London-Paris ‘Silver Arrow’ service.

Paul’s presentation is extensively illustrated and includes pictures of the Company’s early days here at Blackbushe.

You can secure your place/s for what we are sure will be another very interesting talk here.
