This evening we’ll be hearing from Flight Lieutenant Paul Huyton, a current Royal Air Force Chinook pilot, based near to Blackbushe at “the home of the Chinook” in the UK, RAF Odiham.
Paul will be talking about becoming a front-line rotary pilot in today’s RAF and the many ways in which this very capable aircraft has been employed during his time in the role. We’ll get some great insight into current and recent operations and exercises involving this versatile aircraft, whose shape and noise we are all so used to seeing and hearing locally!
You can get your tickets in advance at £10pp for what should be another very interesting evening here. All proceeds, of course, go towards the ongoing restoration of “Vagabond”!
