Crowdfunder update - April 23 ‘Vagabond’ a step closer to home!

Since our last update there has been some progress, ‘Vagabond’ was repositioned this week, as part of a training exercise, by a specialist recovery team of Fire Crew from Vienna Airport. The aircraft now sits on firm, level ground, ready for disassembly and loading for the journey home.

We are extremely grateful for all the efforts by staff from The Austrian Aviation Museum, Bad Vöslau Airfield and Vienna Airport Fire Crew for the task of safely moving G-AGRW, a big thank you to all of you involved!

Blackbushe Heritage Trust and it’s many volunteers are looking forward to seeing the Viking make the journey back to Blackbushe Airport where the hard work of restoration can begin.
