SAVING & RESTORING A VICKERS VIKING 1950s AIRLINER “VAGABOND”

Sitting alone on an airfield a little outside Vienna lay G-AGRW, one of the few remaining Vickers Viking aircraft in the world. We’ve brought her home, now we’re bringing her back to life.

Our mission is to build a heritage centre at Blackbushe Airport, celebrating over 80 years of aviation history. Central to this is restoration of G-AGRW to her former glory as a static exhibit.

GET INVOLVED!

We’re keen to hear from people with any kind of practical skills who want to join us in restoring Vagabond to her former glory! Volunteer as much or as little as you’re able to.
